Todoist alternatives

Updated

The main Todoist alternatives are Any.do, Lifey, Microsoft To Do, Structured and TickTick. Microsoft To Do is free, TickTick and Any.do add a calendar and come in Hebrew, Structured turns tasks into a visual day, and Lifey adds your calendar, workouts and money to your tasks with an assistant that asks before it changes anything.

Why people look for a Todoist alternative

Todoist is an excellent list, but its language page lists 19 languages without Hebrew, and its calendar is a view of due dates rather than a full calendar. People who want their day and their tasks in one place, or who plan in Hebrew, often look further.

How we chose

We opened each official page or App Store listing on 2026-10-12 and kept only facts we could read there. The list is alphabetical, not a ranking. Lifey is our app; read its row with that in mind.

The alternatives

Any.do

Any.do keeps Todoist's simple lists and adds a calendar that combines events and tasks, a daily planner and shared family grocery lists, on a Free Forever plan. Its App Store listing includes Hebrew. Its own pages show different Premium prices, so check the price at checkout.

Lifey

Lifey is for when a list is not enough: your tasks sit next to your calendar, reminders, workouts and spending, and the assistant plans with you but changes nothing until you say yes. It is free to start, in English and Hebrew.

Microsoft To Do

Microsoft To Do is the free, no-frills answer: the iPhone and iPad app is free with no in-app purchases, has a My Day planner with suggested tasks, and is available in Hebrew. It has no calendar of its own; it syncs with Outlook.

Structured

Structured shows your tasks on a visual timeline of the day, which suits people who think in time rather than in lists. The free tier covers the timeline, inbox, sync and subtasks, Pro has a 3-day trial, and the App Store lists 28 languages without Hebrew.

TickTick

TickTick is the closest swap for a Todoist user who wants more in one app: tasks, a calendar, habits and a Pomodoro timer, with a real free plan. Premium is $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year on the US App Store, and the app comes in Hebrew.

When to stay with Todoist

Stay with Todoist if you want the most polished cross-platform list with natural-language entry and many integrations, and you are happy keeping your calendar in another app.
